The inventor of the convenience food known as the
"sandwich" is attributed to John Montagu, the fourth
Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792), a British statesman and
notorious profligate and gambler. We've come a long
way baby! A number of great Sandwiches I’ve eaten
throughout the world. Philadelphia has its Bars, Cheese
Steaks and it’s wonderful Reading Terminal Market.
New York has Katz’s Deli with their unbelievable $36+
Pastrami & Corned Beef Sandwiches. Flint & Detroit
have their very different Coney Island Hot Dogs.
Chicago has their Breaded Steak Sandwiches. The list of
these tasty goodies is extremely long.
